Our Mission

Priority for Human Being Organization (PHO) exists to address the humanitarian and development needs of communities in Gambella, Ethiopia, including host communities affected by conflict and natural disasters as well as refugee populations.

Our mission is carried out through integrated approaches that combine humanitarian response, development programming, capacity building, and strong institutional governance. We work to strengthen local systems, empower communities, and promote ethical, transparent, and effective service delivery.

PHO is committed to working in partnership with government institutions, UN agencies, national and international NGOs, academic institutions, and donors to ensure coordinated, impactful, and sustainable interventions.
